CONTRASTS - My Book

Over 1 year have passed since my last blogpost (I am a bad blogger, I know, but you can follow me on Instagram @meijuknits or on my YouTube channel Meiju Knits or subscribe to my newsletter) but it has been a very busy year.

In my last post I told that I have had a book deal and now my book has been finally published. The publication day was 14th of April 2022. The first edition was sold out from the publisher Laine Magazine practically before the release day. I have been stunned and amazed and so happy about this. It was worth of making and my leap for independent designer paid off. I was able to do those things that made me happy the most. I was actively posting my feelings about the book making process on my YouTube channes, so if you are interested, go and watch. There are also some new videos about my book tour, too. 

The second edition of the book is coming and it is arriving in the mid-June and will be posted after that to those who have ordered it. 

At the moment, I am touring with my book's designs through Finland (and sometimes my designs tour without me). Here are the upcoming events:

- 4th to 6th June, Jaanan lankapaja (only designs).

- 18th June, Tampere, nurja.fi

- 2nd of July, Turku, Ilo Shop

- 8th-9th of July, Jyväskylä Knit Festival
