Lilacs Socks

Cuff-down socks feature an easy but delicate lace pattern. The heel is a flap heel and the design is introducing reinforced knitting also for the ball of the foot. The socks are knitted with fingering-weight sock yarn.

Size 1: Leg circumference 7.75” / 19.5 cm. Foot circumference 7.25” / 18 cm.
Size 2: Leg circumference 8.75” / 22 cm. Foot circumference 8.25” / 21 cm.
Size 3: Leg circumference 10” / 25 cm. Foot circumference 9.25” / 23.5 cm.

YARN
Lucky Omen Yarns Merinosukka (75 % superwash wool, 25 % nylon; 100 g / 465 yds / 425 m). You need 1 skein. Colorway Munakoiso (Eggplant). 
Substitute with any other light fingering -weight sock yarn. 

GAUGE
29 sts and 38 rows in lace pattern = 4 × 4” / 10 × 10 cm. 
32 sts and 40 rows in Stockinette stitch to 4 × 4” / 10 × 10 cm

NEEDLES
US 1.5 / 2.5 mm circular needle. The instructions are written for the magic loop technique, where you knit one sock at a time on a long circular needle. If you want to use regular double-pointed needles, think of TN as DPN II and III, and BN as DPN I and IV.

Pitsisukat neulotaan varresta varpaisiin. Pitsi on suhteellisen helppo ja mukavaa neulottavaa. Sukissa on lappukantapää ja vahvistus myös päkiessä. Lankana on light fingering-vahvuinen sukkalanka.

32 s ja 40 krs sileää neuletta = 10 × 10 cm
29 s ja 38 krs pitsineuletta = 10 × 10 cm.

Puikot

2.5 mm pyöröpuikko. Ohje on kirjoitettu magic loop -tekniikalle, jossa neulotaan yhtä sukkaa pitkällä pyöröpuikolla. Jos haluat käyttää tavallisia sukkapuikkoja, niin puikot II ja III korvaavat YP.n (yläpuikon) ja puikot I ja IV AP:n (alapuikon).
