Tuukkalan Riipus Sweater

This design was inspired by the Tuukkala Pendant, an example of old Kalevala-based Finnish jewelry. It is knit seamlessly from the top down, with stranded colorwork worked from a chart. Originally published in Finlands Kalevala X Novita knitting magazine, the pattern is now available in English.

22 sts and 26 rnd = 4" / 10 cm stockinette st with larger (US 6 / 4 mm) needle

Novita Wonder Wool (100 % wool, 100 g / 246 yds / 225 m / skein)

Master color 663 color tatti (brownish). You need 4(4)4(5)5(6)6(7) skeins or 794(872)984(1121)1203(1339)1431(1565) / 726(798)900(1026)1101(1225)1309(1431) m of similar yarn.

Contrast color 163 color iltahmr (blueish). You need 1(1)1(2)2(2)2(3) skeins or 199(218)246(280)301(335)446(488) yds / 182(199)225(256)275(306)408(446) m.

NEEDLES
US 6 / 4 mm circular needle for body and sleeves. Sleeves are worked using magic loop technique, or with DPNs.
US 4 / 3,5 mm circular needle for ribbing.
Adjust the needle size to get the correct gauge.
