YARN:
The hat was knit with two yarns held together for bulky-weight gauge:
Swans Island All American Collection Worsted (75% Rambouillet wool, 25% Alpaca, 80 g – 210 yds / 192 m per skein). You need 1 (1, 1) skein or 190 (200, 210) yds / 173 (182, 192) m of aran-weight yarn. The sample was knitted in colorway Flagstone.
Wool Me Once Fibers Bumblebee Suri (74% baby suri alpaca, 26 % mulberry silk, 50g – 328 yds / 300 m). You need approx. 1 (1, 1) skeins or 190 (200, 210) yds / 173 (182, 192) m of fingering-weight yarn. Sample colorway Dorian.
NEEDLES:
US 10 / 6 mm 16” / 40 cm circular needle or longer for magic loop. DPNs if preferred
Adjust the needle size to get the correct gauge.
OTHER:
Tapestry needle, stitch marker
GAUGE:
13 sts × 20 rows = 4 × 4” / 10 × 10 cm in wet-blocked 2 x 2 ribbing with (US 10 / 6 mm) needles
The row gauge is not crucial in this pattern as the measurements are given in inches / centimeters.
