Kide Shawl MKAL 2022 #meijuknitsMKAL2022 will be the 3rd mystery knit-along hosted by Meiju.

By purchasing the pattern you will get info about the MKAL. Each clue will be sent to you as a pattern update through Ravelry as scheduled below. With the last clue you will receive a surprise coupon code!

PATTERN PRICE:
4.40 € (+ VAT in EU) from 1st to 31st of January 2022 (Ravelry shows the price VAT included).
Regular price 5.50 € (+ VAT in EU) starting from 1st of February 2022 (Ravelry shows the price VAT included).

Clue 3: Thursday 24th of February
Clue 4: Thursday 3rd of March

Everyone who has shared a photo of their finished shawl in my Ravelry group or on Instagram using tag #meijuknitsMKAL2022 by 31st of March are eligible for prizes (announced later).

Please, use the MKAL thumbnail photo (you can slurp the photo from my Instagram page or from my Ravelry group or from this pattern page) or a photo of your yarn choice as the first photo of your project page and share work-in-progress photos on Ravelry as your other project photos.

ABOUT THE SHAWL:
This Mystery Shawl uses different techniques and stitch patterns. There are sections of simple stockinette stitch, some slipped stitches and a variety of special stitches. You will probably learn some new stitches while working this shawl.

YARDAGE & CHOOSING YARN:
You need three (3) colors of fingering weight yarn, see the details about choosing yarn in the pdf.
A (Approx. 400 yds/366 m). I used Freija Yarn Merino Single, 100 g/400 yds/366 m.
B (Approx. 400 yds/366 m). I used Freija Yarn Merino Single, 95 g/380 yds/348 m.
C (Approx. 400 yds/366 m). I used Freija Yarn Merino Single, 95 g/380 yds/348 m.

My yarn collaborator Freija Yarn has prepared kits that are available for purchase starting on 3rd of January 2022. However, please note that Freija Yarn only delivers to addresses in Finland.
