Puffed Polo

The trick in this lovely turtleneck sweater is the slightly puffed oversized sleeves with a lovely large turtleneck collar that flows beautifully on your neck. Use fingering or light fingering weight yarn to get a wardrobe staple that you wear under your jacket during winter and as a casual sweater in fall, spring, and colder summer days. The sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down. The shoulders and sleeves are shaped with increases and the neckline is shaped with short rows. The large turtleneck collar is worked last.

The sweater is intended to be worn with approx. 2-6" / 5-15 cm of positive ease at the bust. 
Finished bust measurements approx. 31.5 (36, 39.5, 43.5, 48, 51, 54.75, 59.25, 63)" / 80 (91, 101, 110, 122, 130, 139, 150, 160) cm. To fit bust sizes: 28 (32, 36, 40, 44, 48, 52, 56, 60)" / 70 (80, 90, 100, 110, 120, 130, 140, 150) cm.
Sleeves are puffed and oversized.

Undreamt Alpakka (100 % baby alpaca 50g/218 yds/200 m/skein) You need approx.: 5 (5, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8, 9, 10) skeins or 975 (1085, 1199, 1331, 1462, 1590, 1715, 1922, 2082) yds/894 (995, 1100, 1221, 1341, 1459, 1573, 1764, 1910) m of fingering weight yarn. The sample is knitted in colorway Slightly Nuts.

NEEDLES:
US 2.5/3 mm 32"/80 cm circular needle for body & sleeves.
US 1.5/2.5 mm 32"/80 cm circular needle for hem & cuffs
US 4/3.5 mm 24"/60 cm circular needle for turtleneck collar
Adjust the needle size to get the correct gauge.

OTHER:
Tapestry needle, stitch markers (4), stitch holders/scrap yarn (2).

GAUGE:
25 sts and 35 rows = 4 x 4"  / 10 x 10 cm in Stockinette stitch with (US 2.5/3 mm) needles.
