Rusko Cardigan

Rusko means a golden brownish color in Finnish. The word is used when talking about sunset - golden hour, iltarusko. The Rusko Cardigan is worked from the top down, making the length easily adjustable. The lace stitch pattern is easy to memorize after knitting it for a while, so you dont have to refer to the chart frequently. The construction is interesting, yet quite simple.

The pullover is intended to be worn with approx. 4-8" / 10-20 cm of positive ease.
The sample modeled is in Size M, worn on 34.5" bust, with approx. 9" / 22 cm positive ease.

GAUGE:
18 sts and 24 rows = 4 x 4"/ 10 x 10 cm in lace stitch pattern with larger (US 4 / 3.5 mm) needles.

Jalovilla Vuona (100 % Finnish wool 50 g / 224 yds / 205 m). You need approx.: 4 (5, 5, 6, 7, 8, 8, 9) skeins = 893 (1051, 1120, 1283, 1413, 1571, 1645, 1803) yds / 817 (962, 1025, 1174, 1293, 1438, 1505, 1650) m. Colorway Iltarusko.

NEEDLES: 
US 4 / 3.5 mm 32" / 80-120 cm circular needle for body & sleeves
US 2.5 / 3 mm 32" / 80-120 cm circular needle for ribbing.
Adjust the needle size to get the correct gauge.
