Stormur means storm in Icelandic language.
This lopapeysa sweater is inspired by traditional Icelandic motifs. Can you see a fleet of viking ships sailing in a storm? The sweater is worked from the top-down and the neck is lifted taller than the front with short-rows.

The pullover is intended to be worn with approx. 2-4”/5-10 cm of positive ease at the chest. Modeled in size 10 yrs old. The sample 2 is 4 years old.

Létt-Lopi by Ístex (100 % Icelandic wool, 50g/1.76oz/100m/109yds). You need approx.:
MC: 3(4, 4, 5, 6, 6, 7) skeins or 310(390, 440, 490, 570, 600, 690) m/340(420, 480, 540, 620, 654, 750)yds.
CC1: 2(2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 4) skeins or 160(180, 200, 250, 290, 300, 350) m/170(210, 235, 265, 310, 327, 380) yds.
CC2: 1(1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2) skeins or 75(80, 90, 100, 150, 160, 180) m/80(90, 100, 109, 160, 165, 190) yds.
The sample 10 years old (on the cover page of the pattern) was knitted in colorways: MC 1701, CC1 0086, CC2 0051
The sample 4 years old was knitted in colorways: MC 0051, CC1 1403, CC2 1703. Also, CC2 was used in the hem ribbing.
NEEDLES:
US 7/(4.5 mm) circular needle for body
US 6/(4 mm) circular needle for the neck ribbing
US 4/(3.5 mm) circular needle for hem and cuff ribbing
Adjust the needle size to get the correct gauge.
OTHER:
Tapestry needle, stitch markers, scrap yarn/stitch holders.
