Viljanen Pullover

This is a yoke pullover with a lace stitch pattern featuring bobbles. After the yoke has been works, short rows lift the back for a better fit. There is no waist shaping in the pattern, however some waist shaping can be easily added. Sleeves are shaped with decreases. The length of the sweater can be modified since the pullover is worked from the top down.

The pullover is intended to be worn with approx. 2-6”/5-15 cm of positive ease (or some negative ease is possible) at the bust. Finished measurements approx.:

24 sts and 35 rows = 4” 10 cm in Stockinette stitch with larger (US 3/3.25 mm) needles.
24 sts and 35 rows = 4” 10 cm in lace pattern with smaller (US 2.5/3 mm) needles.

Nordic Yarn Baby Camel (100% baby camel, 1.76 oz/50g/251 yds/230 m/skein) in colorway 10050. You need approx. 5(5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7)(8, 8, 9, 9, 10, 10) skeins or 1150(1210, 1255, 1410, 1480, 1550, 1690)(1830, 1950, 2050, 2210, 2310, 2380) yds/1050(1110, 1150, 1300, 1360, 1420, 1550)(1680, 1790, 1880, 2030, 2120, 2190) m.
Note: Yardages are calculated for the yoke measurements given in the pattern schematic picture and the body length given. If you make a longer sweater with this yarn, you may need more yarn. 4x4”/10x10 cm piece uses approx. 14.8yds/13.5 m of yarn.

NEEDLES:
US 3/(3.25 mm) 24-32-48”/60-80-120 cm circular needle for St st on body and sleeves
US 2.5/(3 mm) 24-32-48”/60-80-120 cm circular needle for neck ribbing and lace yoke
US 1.5/(2.5 mm) 24-32-48”/60-80-120 cm circular needle for ribbing on cuffs and hem
Adjust the needle size to get the correct gauge.
